Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Great Falls, Montana!

Old West history comes alive in Great Falls, home to native tribes, explorers, cowboys, homesteaders, and cattle barons all leaving vestiges of colorful heritage. Tree-lined boulevards and historic homes mark the original town of Great Falls, lending to self-guided walking tours for a district on the National Register of Historic Places featuring 216 buildings, most constructed between 1885 and 1945. Bungalow, Prairie, Colonial, Revival, Queen Anne, Victorian and Second Empire architectural styles are all represented. The Great Falls themselves -- cited by explorer Meriwether Lewis as the "grandest sight I had ever beheld" -- include four visible sets of falls around the city, Black Eagle, Rainbow, Crooked, and the Great Falls. River's Edge Trail extends 13.3 miles along the Missouri River, offering spectacular views, plenty of space for hiking or jogging, and the chance to watch waterfowl feeding.

Other attractions include the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center overlooking the Missouri River, Ulm Pishkun State Park where buffalo were once stampeded over cliffs, High Plains Heritage Center depicting life on the prairie, and Giant Springs Heritage State Park, with its freshwater springs, and the Roe River listed by Guinness as the world's shortest river. Fly-fishing is popular as is golf at courses including Eagle Falls Golf Club, among top courses in Montana, and Anaconda Hills Golf Course, built in the 1920s and featuring a spectacular view of the city. Shoppers flock to downtown boutiques, galleries, and eateries, and the Holiday Village Mall, anchored by JCPenney and Sears, features shops like Bath & Body Works, Hot Topic, and Wet Seal, and also houses the Montana Law Enforcement Museum. Great Falls accommodations include more than 2,000 rooms from inns and motels on the outskirts to downtown hotels.
